For Samsung, a massive marketing budget means they can try a wide variety of different angles to sell their devices. Whether it’s a soccer team that needs to come together through the power of GALAXY to defend the world, or just bashing the competitor’s products, Samsung has every possible method of promoting their products down. In their latest ad, it’s all about surfing, with some technology thrown in for good measure.

One of Samsung’s newest advertisements is meant to not only promote their own brand and devices, but also to promote their partnership with the Association of Surfing Professionals. As Samsung notes at the end of the ad, which runs for just around two minutes, they are the first global partner for the ASP.

The ad itself is very well done, showcasing surfing and the beautiful imagery inherently involved with it. From someone just learning how to get on a ‘board, to the professionals taking part in the world championship tour right now. While some may think that Samsung’s products are not in the ad enough, it’s the way they are showcased, in natural situations, that help promote them the best.

For instance, picking up the Galaxy S5 at the end, covered in sand and water, and being able to take a picture without worrying about damaging the device is pretty amazing.

You can check out the full ad below. The Men’s World Championship Tour is taking place right now. It started at the beginning of March, and will continue all the way through to December.
