Here are some random Samsung rumors that hit the internet while I was away

Rather than give each of these little Samsung rumors their own article, and potentially piss you guys off, I thought I’d lump them together into a sort of “here’s what happened while I was gone for seven days” summary.

With that, let’s start with the Galaxy Ace III. According to SamMobile, it exists. And it’s going to have a 4 inch display, 5 megapixel camera, and it shouldn’t cost more than 300 EUR. I only have one question: How exactly will this thing differ from the Galaxy S III Mini? It has the exact same specs. Same price too.

Next up, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3. Again, it’s a SamMobile story. They’re right quite often, so I’m going to try and wrap my head around this. Similar to how Samsung announced the 5 inch Galaxy Grand to compliment the 5.5 inch Galaxy Note II, I’m thinking this new “Mega” family is simply a continuation of where the Grand left off. Meaning a Samsung “Mega” is basically a Samsung “Note”, but without the stylus.

And finally, from you know where, rumors and a picture of what’s allegedly the “Galaxy Tab 3 Plus”. It’s essentially a Nexus 10 that looks like a blown up Galaxy S III. I’d offer up a theory as to where this thing fits inside Samsung’s portfolio, but I’ve never understood high end Android tablets. Android tablets, to me, have always been for people who want something cheaper than an iPad.
