Samsung is not a stranger to launching new colors for smartphones it has already introduced, especially for specific markets.

Here we are, several months after the launch of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, and Samsung is introducing a new color option for the wireless market in the United States. The Sunrise Gold variant will officially go on sale on Sunday, June 24. You’ll be able to buy it from Samsung’s website as an unlocked unit, or with various options via Best Buy and Best Buy’s website.

The pricing starts at $719.99 for the 64GB Galaxy S9, and goes up to $959.99 for the 256GB Galaxy S9+. You can get up to $400 off if you buy an unlocked model and trade in an eligible handset. Or if you go through Best Buy, you can get $300 off if you go with a carrier variant.

Other than the color, which Samsung says is a “satin gloss finish which wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer”, the new Galaxy S9 variant is just all about the new color. Do you plan on picking one up when it goes on sale?
