Rumor Samsung Galaxy Note 6

Industry analysts suggest that Samsung could release Note 6 earlier than the iPhone and it may be as early as July! This would be earlier than the September launch of the iPhone 7; And they speculate this is based on the popularity of the Galaxy S7 (it has sold an estimated 9 Million units in barely a month), and the price drop of the Note 5.

According to Bloomberg, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is expected to be released earlier as Samsung rides on the success of the Galaxy S7.

“The success of the S7 likely will encourage Samsung to use the same playbook with its newest large-screen Note devices later this year. We expect Samsung to release the Note 6 a month or two before the Apple iPhone 7 to…grab that window of opportunity,” said Neil Mawston, Executive Director of researcher Strategy Analytics

To further add to the rumoured early arrival is the drop in price of the Galaxy Note 5 by $150 at Walmart, something industry analysts say points towards a new device arriving. ‘Normally, such product promo campaigns show up when manufacturers and sellers are just about to come in with new devices,’ said Nashville Chatter Class. This drop is attributed to clearing out stocks of the old device and paving the path for a new one.

To the eagerly awaiting fans of the Note series of devices this speculation brings much to look forward to. Among other things, the new device is expected to spot a 12MP rear camera. It is further rumoured that the device will have a 5.8 inch Quad HD display, 64/128 GB internal storage and a whopping 6GB of RAM. It is speculated that the phablet will be launched with Android N out of the box, nonetheless we don’t expect the same as Android N isn’t expected to launch till September-October. However, these rumoured specs have yet to be confirmed or validated.

Samsung themselves have not confirmed any of these speculations, however the sale of the next device is expected to be sometime around summer this year.
