Before unveiling the OnePlus 6, OnePlus today unveiled its first wireless Bluetooth earbuds, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless.  The earbuds are not an AirPods copycat and instead feature a design similar to that of Google’s Pixel earbuds.

The earbuds are connected to each with magnetic ends. Once you put the earphones around your neck, you can shut them down by attaching them together magnetically. Similarly, you can detach them to answer a call or resume playing back music. This also ensures that the Bullets Wireless offers longer battery life than most other earbuds in the market.

Even better, the Bullets Wireless features a USB-C port and can be fast charged using any USB-C fast charger. With just 10 minutes of charging, OnePlus says the Bullets Wireless can last for up to 5 hours.

The Bullets Wireless can also access Google Assistant so you can easily trigger the assistant to play music, ask for directions, check on the weather, and more. The earphones also feature a 3-way in-line remote for music playback and call controls.

OnePlus has also worked on the sound quality and soundstage to ensure the Bullets Wireless offers great treble, a wider soundstage, and a decent amount of bass. They also support Qualcomm’s aptX codec to deliver high-quality sound. And to make pairing easier, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless features the same pairing technology as found on the Pixel Buds.

In typical OnePlus fashion, the Bullets Wireless trumps its competition with its price. The earphones will retail from June 5 for $69 (£69).
