Here’s everything I know about the Samsung Galaxy S IV

Samsung’s “next big thing” is going to be announced in roughly 17 hours. What do I know about it? It’s going to look a lot like the Galaxy S III. It’s going to come in two colors. It’ll likely come with an Exynos processor in some parts of the world, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon in other parts. Which countries get which processor? That I don’t know.

The screen will measure 4.99 inches diagonal and it’ll display an astonishing 1920 x 1080 pixels. Whether the screen will be better than the 5 inch 1080p panel in HTC’s Butterfly remains to be seen. The camera will likely be a 13 megapixel sensor courtesy of Sony, but that’s just a guess.

Right now I’m in Malaysia, which means I’m going to have to wake up pretty early tomorrow (Friday) to watch Samsung’s keynote. Samsung will be streaming it live on their YouTube channel, so if my alarm clock fails, not to worry, you can keep up with all the action on your own.

In fact, it’s going to be damn near impossible to miss the news. Sources (aka friends) tell me that roughly 2,000 people will be in attendance at the launch event in New York City. That means a ton of hands-on videos are going to be filmed.

I’ll try my best to find the ones that are actually worth watching.
