LG sold 450,000 units of the V10 in the U.S. in 45 days

LG announced that just 45 days after the launch of the V10 the United States, the company has sold 450,000 units in the market. The company notes that the handset sales have been helped by the increase in uptake of phones with screens of around 5.7-inch in size.

It also notes that the ability to easily create and share video content on the V10 has played a key role in the success of the handset. Additionally, the V10 has been very popular among consumers in the age group of 25-34.

The LG V10 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD IPS display alongside a secondary always-on 2.1-inch display for quick access to certain functions and shortcuts. Under the hood, the V10 is powered by a Snapdragon 808 chipset, an Adreno 418 GPU, 4GB RAM, and packs 32GB of storage space along with a microSD card slot. The handset has been made from 316L stainless steel and features a ‘Dura Skin’ back that allows it to absorb the impacts from drops.

The handset was announced in early October and went on sale in the United States on all major carriers from October 30.
