Google Keyboard, the stock keyboard that’s made its way into the Google Play Store, has received a pretty sizable update.

Google has released a new update for the Google Keyboard, which might make it even more worthwhile to anyone that has switched away. First and foremost, the new keyboard will offer a one-handed mode, perfectly suited for handsets with bigger displays. The keyboard can be enabled by holding the comma button, or going into the Preferences for the keyboard as well.

Once you’ve enabled the one-handed feature, you can position the keyboard to the right or the left of the screen.

Google Keyboard now also features new gestures, including the ability to swipe left on the delete key and subsequently delete one word, or a few words, just with a single swipe. On top of that, sliding your finger to the left or right on the space bar will let you select a cursor location.

The update also includes the ability to change the keyboard’s height as well. There are five positions to choose from, with the largest being the “Tall” option.
