PSY’s Gangnam Style, the first track to get over one billion views on YouTube, is ridiculously popular. I can’t tell you how many times I heard it when I was traveling through Asia earlier this year. Samsung India decided to take the song, switch up the words so that they’re about the Galaxy S4, and then hire a handsome bearded local to dance the dance that club goers around the world are tired of doing.

This video is so bad that it’s great. Beyond great actually, it’s amazing. And before you even dare think to mock Samsung, note that this marketing stunt wasn’t meant for you. It was meant for India. Thanks to YouTube, we all get to see it, and I just absolutely love the internet for that.

Update: The performance was commissioned by Samsung’s retail partner Reliance Digital, not Samsung themselves. Still, doesn’t change the fact that it’s amazing.
