Galaxy S5 Zoom

The Samsung Galaxy K, otherwise known as the Galaxy S5 Zoom will break cover on the 29th of April in Singapore. We have now managed to come across a couple of sample images taken using the 20.2-megapixel shooter on this device.

EXIF data of this leaked image reveals that it was taken from the Samsung SM-C115, while the Zoom predecessor was known as the SM-C101. The results however, don’t look all that pleasing to be honest. For one, the background has been focused rather than the subject of the picture, which could be a refocusing effect similar to the Galaxy S5. But apart from that, the image is fairly average with nothing to write about.

We’re hoping this is just an early image taken from the device as it wouldn’t sit well with the customers to find that a smartphone that boasts quite a decent camera doesn’t live up to the expectations.

Apart from the 20.2-megapixel camera sensor, the Galaxy S5 Zoom is also expected to feature a 4.8 inch 720p Super AMOLED display, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and the Exynos 5260 hexa-core chipset. We expect to get more clarity on the performance of this device when it is announced in a couple of weeks from now.
