Google launched the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL at the end of 2017. Since then, the company has released newer models, and, as such, feels it’s ready to abandon the aging devices.

As was first noted by Android Police on Monday, Google has decided to pull both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL from its online storefront. So if you were suddenly feeling the desire to buy Google’s flagship smartphone from 2017 today, and do it from Google directly, you no longer can. That means you can only buy the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL now directly from Google.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that the phone isn’t available from other retailers out there. Just a quick perusal shows that the handsets are still available from Verizon and Best Buy. And there is always third-party sales, too. It’s sad to see Google ditching the handset a year and some change after its initial launch, but it’s also not too shocking, either.

Are you still using a Pixel 2 or a Pixel 2 XL?
