Starting from today, Google will help you find activities, things to do, and search for events near you. The feature will be available on the Google app and the mobile web in the US.

As Google explains it, searching for something like “jazz concerts in Austin” or “Art events this weekend” will automatically bring up a new Events card with details and schedules of when such events will take place. When you come across an event you like, simply tap on it for more details or to buy its tickets directly.

There are also filters to filter out events depending on when they are happening: Today, Tomorrow, This Weekend, and more.

If you just want to know what events are going to occur near you, a simple “events near me” Google search will suffice.

As mentioned above, this feature is only being rolled out for users in the US for now. Google has also provided developers with the relevant guidelines on how they can ensure that users are able to see their listings when searching for events on Google.
