Google today announced that it has rolled out physical Google Play gift cards in retail stores across India. Starting from today, it will be possible for Android users in India to purchase a Google Play gift card from retail chains of Spice Hotspot, Vijay Sales, Planet M, Planet Mobile, and Sangeetha Mobiles.

It can also be purchased online through e-commerce website Snapdeal. The company is offering Google Play gift cards in 3 denominations in the country: Rs. 750, Rs. 1000, and Rs. 1500.

Google Play gift cards can be used to purchase not only apps, but other content that Google sells through the store, including movies, books, games, and more. It can also be used to purchase in-app content and coins.
