Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, is currently on a week-long tour to India under the Google for India initiative. Since his arrival he has given numerous interviews and taken part in various Q&As, and during one such session held at the SRCC college in Delhi, the CEO revealed that Google might just take an online poll to finalise the name of the next version of Android.

Sunday basically wants the vocal Android community to have a role in naming the next version of Android. However, before you get too excited, keep in mind that nothing is finalised for now and the company might just end up naming Android N whatever it feels like.

Major Android revisions have been named after desserts, with Google finalising the name at the very last stages of development.

While not yet finalised, it will definitely be exciting if Google ends up conducting an online poll to finalise the name of the next version of Android. What do you think Google should call Android N? Nutella?
