Earlier this year, Google and Amazon announced that they are making up and that Prime Video would make its way to Android TV and Chromecast. The YouTube app would also make its return to Amazon’s Fire TV devices. That day has finally arrived as the YouTube app is now once again available for the Fire TV.
Additionally, Prime Video is now also available on Chromecast and Prime Video. If your TV has Chromecast built-in or it has a Chromecast plugged in, you can directly cast content from Prime Video to your TV.
If you have an Android TV or a set-top box running Android TV, they will soon get access to the Prime Video app which should make its debut on Google Play soon.
On Google’s part, it is making its YouTube app once again available on Fire TV devices including the Fire TV stick, Fire TV Cube, and more. With Alexa integration on Fire TV devices, you can simply ask Alexa to play content from YouTube on your TV as well. On supported TVs, you can stream content in 4K@60fps on supported TVs and media players. YouTube TV and YouTube Kids will also be coming to Fire TV devices later this year.
Are you happy that Prime Video is finally making its way to Android TV and that the YouTube app is once again available for Fire TV devices?
