The Pixel 3 XL, along with the smaller Pixel 3 variant, has seen its fair share of software issues since its launch, and now it appears that some owners are running into new problems.

One of the primary issues at this point is call quality, and it doesn’t look like it’s just on the Pixel 3 XL, either. Although, that does appear to be the primary source for many owners out there in the wild presenting their problems with the device. It does not appear to be a specifi carrier-based issue, either, or a specific model. Call quality for many Pixel 3/3 XL owners just seems to be less-than-great for many owners. Audio itself can be degraded significantly, or the audio can be tinny.

For folks who might be getting acceptable call quality are running into other issues, specifically with connectivity. For some Pixel 3 XL owners, it may take a very long time for the call to actually connect when the person on the other end answers. And for others, calls may just simply cut out, or end unexpectedly. Some units are failing to send any audio at all to the person on the other end of the call.

What may be worse is that some of these issues crop up randomly, so it’s not happening all the time for some owners. One call may be fine, both in connection and quality, and another might be awful.

There is no solution at this point, and there is no word from Google at this point on an expected fix. How ever a fix arrives, hopefully it arrives soon.
