The Galaxy S9 is a stunning handset to look at with its premium glass design. This is further helped by the variety of colors that Samsung sells the phone in. YouTuber JerryRigEverything, however, wanted his Galaxy S9 to look even cooler so he went ahead and made the rear glass on the device completely transparent.
He has also detailed the steps in his video so you can always give it a shot on your Galaxy S9 as well. However, the process is definitely not for the faint of the heart as it requires one to pry open their Galaxy S9, move some wires around, and then remove the paint coating from Samsung on the rear glass panel by scratching it to make it transparent.
Once done, you will have to put back the whole device very carefully. This is not the first time that Jerry has done something like this. He has previously done a similar mod on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 as well, and the same caveats apply here.
It goes without saying that if you end up doing such a mod on your Galaxy S9, you will end up voiding its warranty. The water-resistance ability of the handset will also be compromised which means you will not be able to dunk the phone in water after this mod.
