The Moto X isn’t necessarily hard to come by, especially through Moto Maker on Motorola’s website, but for anyone who has yet to pull the trigger due to pricing, the time for waiting may be over.

Motorola has officially launched its Valentine’s Day promotion that sees the availability of 200,000 promotion codes that will offer $140 off the purchase of a new smartphone through Motorola’s site. The purchase has to be $499.99 or more, though, to get the full $140 off the final price tag. If you don’t want to spend that much, the promotional code also offers up $50 off a purchase of $249.99. Heading through the source link in this article will get you to the sign-up page, and if you receive a code you’ll have until 11:59 PM ET on Saturday, February 14 to take advantage of it before it expires.

As far as exclusions go, you won’t be able to pick up a Nexus 6 with this deal, nor will you be able to pick up a 2nd Gen. Moto X for Republic Wireless. Moto Care is out of the running, too. If you do decide to pick something up, there’s a two-device limit for every purchase.

If you don’t land a promo code, though, Motorola’s got another deal running between February 3 and February 14 that sees a $100 discount on purchases made of $499.99 or more, and a $35 discount on any purchase of $249.99.
