The Google Pixel 3 XL, along with the smaller brethren, the Pixel 3, are expected to debut in October. So it’s unsurprising to see the handset popping up in the real world.

The latest images come from MobileSyrup, with one of the publication’s readers sending in a couple of photos of what definitely looks to be the Pixel 3 XL out there in the real world, being used by someone who has access to the handset. They’re using WhatsApp in the photo, and we can see the deep notch with its pair of front-facing cameras and front-facing speaker up there at the top of the (what’s rumored to be a 6.7-inch) display.

Meanwhile, around back, because the photographer got a look at that, too, we can see the familiar Pixel design, and the single rear camera setup that Google has been rumored to be going with this year. There aren’t any additional details along with the images, and we can’t see a lot of the back of the phone, but it’s certainly interesting to see the handset out in the wild like this well in advance of its official announcement.

So? What do you think? Are you already planning ahead for the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL to be your next handset of choice?
