Google’s Creative Lab has released a new live wallpaper for Android that displays useful information on your home screen. Meter is capable of showing battery and Wi-Fi status, as well as the number of outstanding notifications.
Meter is totally free to download from Google Play, and using it is as easy as applying any other live wallpaper. Once applied, Meter will rotate between real-time statistics and information about battery level, Wi-Fi status, and notifications.
The wallpaper will switch between these three indicators every time you unlock your device or return to the home screen after using an app. There is no way to lock onto one indicator permanently yet — though this may be added later.
