Just a few hours after HTC started rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Google Play edition One, Google has gone ahead and officially announced that the update is underway.
While the Galaxy S4 GPe is yet to receive the update, the kernel sources and the official announcement from Google means that the update should be available within a few hours.
