BlackBerry Ghost Revealed in New Image

The BlackBerry brand has different licenses in place, which allows for companies like TCL to manufacture BlackBerry-branded devices based on regions.

One of the other companies is Optiemus Infracom, and, up to this point, that licensing deal hasn’t revealed anything worthwhile as the company hasn’t launched any devices. However, it looks like that will be changing soon. Serial leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has taken to Twitter to reveal the first image of what is called the BlackBerry Ghost.

According to Blass, the handset will be “bezel-less” and it will be a premium handset. Optiemus will be launching the handset in India at some point in the future, but there is no word on when that will be.

Details on the Ghost are basically nonexistent, as this is the first the handset has popped up at this point. That will probably change soon, though. At this point, we don’t know the specifications for the Ghost, when it will ship, where, exactly, it will be available other than India, and how much it will cost when it does arrive on the scene.

Blass’s image does show a sleek handset that shares plenty of similarities to other handsets out there in the wild that have reduced bezels. Will that be enough to sway some customers in India when the phone arrives? Only time will tell.

What do you think of the BlackBerry Ghost?
