The BlackBerry Motion, which ditches the hardware keyboard and sticks with a large touchscreen, debuted in India earlier this year, but it is now on its way to North America.

TCL and BlackBerry have announced that the BlackBerry-branded Motion will be available in Canada beginning on November 10. On that date, those interested in the handset can pick up the 5.5-inch display with a 1080p HD resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage. There is a microSD card for expandable storage, a 4000mAh battery, an 8MP camera on the front, and a 12-megapixel camera around back.

There is a fingerprint reader below the display, a USB Type-C port, and the device supports QuickCharge 3.0.

Price is set around $600 CAD, depending on where you pick up the device. Bell will sell the handset for $599.00 CAD, while SaskTel will sell it for $599.99 CAD. Meanwhile, Koodo and Telus will have it priced at $605.00 CAD. That’s if you don’t want to sign up for a two-year plan from some carriers.

SaskTel and Bell will offer the BlackBerry Motion for $99 CAD with a two-year premium plan. And Koodo will offer the handset for $100 with a Tab Large plan.

When the BlackBerry Motion goes up for sale on November 10 in Canada, do you plan on picking one up? Are you waiting for the handset to arrive in your neck of the woods?
