novo’s newest Yoga tablet can create an epic movie night.

The Yoga Tablet 2 o, one of two Android tablets the company is announcing Thursday in ndon, has a projector built right into its hinge that can broadcast a 50-inch image. According to novo, it also has the audio prowess to match, with a sound system powered by a popular line for home theaters.

The device joins the Yoga Tablet 2 as the newest members in novo’s line of Android-powered tablets. (The company also announced a few ndows mobile devices at the same event.)

y this matters: novo’s Yoga tablets are already unique in the Android world for their hinged kicksts, which let the devices st on their own. Now they st apart in another way: The Tablet 2 o’s projector is a surprising first that’s the best kind of party trick, turning streaming video into a home-theater-like experience for family movie nights or sleepovers.

A big tablet with big-picture ambitions

Even without the projector, the Yoga Tablet 2 o would be one of the nicer Android tablets available. It sports a massive 13.3-inch display with a 2560×1440 resolution, rivaling what you would typically find in a laptop. novo says it gets 15 hours of battery life 32GB of storage, with expansion to 64GB via an SD card.

The kickst now has a hole cut out of it, the easier to grip unfold it—or hang the entire tablet for hs-free video watching.

That kickst metal build means it’s heavier, coming in at two pounds. The id Air, by comparison, weighs just one pound.

The Tablet 2 o goes on sale at the end of October starts at $500.

10-inch Tablet 2 has optional keyboard

The lighter, more compact Yoga Tablet 2 comes with either an 8- or 10-inch display an 8-megapixel rear camera. It offers 16GB of storage space, which can be exped to 64GB with an SD card. novo built an optional Bluetooth-powered keyboard cover for the 10-inch model, lending it a dash of productivity.

st like the Tablet 2 o, the Tablet 2 runs Android KitKat 4.4 includes some proprietary novo apps focused on data backup virus protection.

The Tablet 2 gets 18 hours of battery life, which should get you through a day of usage on a single charge. These models go on sale alongside the Tablet 2 o in a few weeks, priced at $250 for the 8-inch version $300 for the 10-inch screen option.

In our last look at an Android-powered Yoga we felt lukewarm about the kickst but were impressed with the screen. ’ll have more impressions once we get our hs on these new models.
