The Galaxy S5 was Samsung’s flagship for 2014, launched earlier in the year. And then Samsung launched the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, solely for South Korea, and suddenly the flagship from earlier in the year isn’t so much the flagship of 2014 anymore. Now, if leaks of a rumored device are true, Samsung has yet another flagship replacement in the pipeline.

We’ve seen the Galaxy F before. Quite a few times, actually, if you include all of the leaks for the device that pointed towards a release earlier this year (but eventually turned into the Galaxy S5 LTE-A). However, after the launch of Samsung’s South Korean-only Galaxy S5 LTE-A, the Galaxy F has started showing up even more, at pretty much a constant frequency of leaks. That could suggest that Samsung is gearing up for an announcement soon.

At this point, we’ve seen the Galaxy F in two shades of gold: Perfect Golden and Glowing Gold. But obviously the “premium” Galaxy S5 isn’t going to just come in gold, so what else is there? How about some shiny silver to go along with it? That’s what we’ve got today, thanks to a leak from serial leaker @evleaks. This time it’s the Crystal Clear Galaxy F, and it is indeed shiny, that’s for sure.

Actually, what’s interesting here, is that the back of the device, while obviously silver, shares some similarities to LG’s G3, in so far that it looks like it could be a metal-backed device. It certainly doesn’t have that dimple-backed design we’ve seen on the Galaxy S5. This falls right in line with the back cover we’ve seen on the golden leaks before, and it could just be a play on the eyes with the silver hue, but this device does look like it could be metal. Will it be? Probably not, hence the connection with the G3 — which looks metal, but actually isn’t.

According to the rumors, the Galaxy F will feature a 5.3-inch QHD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB of RAM. Plus plenty of other spec details worthy enough of a bulleted list.

If the frequency of these device leaks are any indicator, we may not have to wait much longer to see Samsung officially unveil the Galaxy F. Are you excited for this device?
