Whenever a company releases its new flagship, it expects it to sell better than its predecessor. Samsung is no different, and expects the Galaxy S6 to surpass the sale that of the Galaxy S5.

Not only that, the company even expects the Galaxy S6 sales to surpass the Galaxy S4, which was the company’s best selling flagship handset ever.

The Korean company’s general manager of mobile communication in Taiwan, Andy Tu, said that Samsung has made drastic changes in the Galaxy S6 after the criticism it received for the Galaxy S5. He further added that the company expects a “significant replacement demand for the Galaxy family products” after the launch of the Galaxy S6.

The Galaxy S6 (and Galaxy S6 edge) comes with a 5.1-inch Quad HD display, an Exynos 7420 SoC based on the 14nm fabrication process, 3GB RAM and a 16MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and OIS. Most importantly though, the handset is made entirely of metal and glass, which gives it a premium look and feel.

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are easily among the best smartphones that Samsung has released in recent years, and perhaps its best Galaxy ever, especially after the disappointment that the Galaxy S5 was.
