Aside from featuring a metallic body and a slim design, the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 also feature a slightly newer version of TouchWiz with theme support.

Now, according to the information received by SamMobile, Samsung is working on adding enhanced themes support on all its upcoming devices, including the Galaxy S6.

The themes function will be called Themes Center and will be similar to the one seen on the Galaxy A3 and A5, but with many enhanced customization options like changing system fonts, sounds and more. Apparently, Samsung will also include something called ‘Events’ that will allow users to change the system theme to match the event of that particular day.

Apparently, users will be able to change themes for particular events – for example, you could set a particular theme for Christmas eve, and another for the big day itself. We’re unsure of how the event theme feature will work, but overall, it sounds like something different than what we usually see in themes on software from other OEMs.

Samsung will also be including a Themes Store in its newer devices, but it is not yet clear if it will offer themes from third-party developers through the store or only its in-house developed ones.

Looking at Samsung’s history though, it is very likely that the company will release the neccessary tools and APIs for developers to create themes for its upcoming devices.
