Yesterday, the full manual of the upcoming Droid Turbo leaked online revealing some key tidbits about the handsets internals and its features. The Droid Turbo is shaping up to be one of the most impressive Droids in recent years by offering the best of both worlds — all the software novelties as seen on the new Moto X along with next-gen specs.

This includes a Quad HD display of either 5.2 or 5.5-inches, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM and 21MP camera. Courtesy of today’s leak, we now know another important tidbit from the Droid Turbo’s spec sheet — its battery size. If the Chinese source of this leak is to be believed, the Droid Turbo will come with a gigantic 3900mAh battery.

Motorola is known to use gigantic batteries inside its handsets, so the Turbo coming with a gigantic battery should not really come as a surprise. Last year, Motorola had used a 3500mAh battery — which is huge even by today’s standard — on the Droid Maxx.

Nevertheless, looking at the specs of the Droid Turbo, I cannot help but think that this is what the new Moto X should have been, especially in regards to the battery size.

The Droid Turbo is expected to be unveiled by the Big Red towards the end of this month and will go on sale by early November.
