The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus launched earlier this year, but it looks like Motorola is already ready to launch slightly upgraded versions of both handsets.

VentureBeat has a new report, based on marketing materials the publication received, that details the upcoming Moto G5S Plus, at least in part. The report reveals that the upcoming handset will boast a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display, which is slightly bigger than the standard Moto G5 Plus’s screen at 5.2 inches. It will also ditch the plastic frame, and instead opt for an anodized aluminum shell.

Another key change will be the camera system on the back. While the Moto G5 Plus has a single 12-megapixel camera on the back, the Moto G5S Plus will apparently feature a pair of 13-megapixel shooters (one color, the other black and white). That will give the phone the ability to take photos with the bokeh effect, and more. The front-facing camera will also be upgraded to an 8-megapixel shooter, up from 5 megapixels on the previous variant.

The publication expects that Motorola will announce the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus on July 25, when Motorola hosts an event in New York City. The company is also expected to unveil the Moto Z2 Force and Moto X4 at the event as well.
