The Moto 360 might be the Android Wear smartwatch everyone is looking forward to, but it is LG’s G Watch that has been making an appearance in most of the rumors and leaks in the past few weeks. We’ve come across a complete list of its specs, seen it make a short appearance on the Play Store, and today, we can feast our eyes on the G Watch in its flesh thanks to a leaked image that has made its way online.

The image comes courtesy of a Reddit user, and shows the watch with its display powered up and with a USB cable connected on the left side. The watch seems to be running the initial setup wizard that will guide users through the process of connecting it to a phone, and the picture confirms that the official Android Wear app will be available for download from the Play Store, which isn’t the least bit surprising considering Android Wear will be compatible with all Android devices.

There’s nothing else to see in the image apart from that bluish rubberized band, though it does reveal the rather bland design of the G Watch. An official debut at Google I/O next week (where it will also be given out to attendees) might help LG get a bit of early traction, but the watch’s unimpressive looks could drive quite a few folks towards Motorola’s Moto 360.
