LG today announced that the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will start making its way to customers in the United States and Korea from this month. The Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is the first Android Wear watch to support cellular functionality.

LG had previously already confirmed that the Watch Urbane will be coming to AT&T’s network in the U.S. on November 13 for $199.99 on a 2-year contract, or $15 for 20 months. Verizon has also just announced that it will start taking pre-orders for the watch from November 12.

The smartwatch is made of 316L stainless steel and features a circular P-OLED display. It also comes with three buttons on its right side that provide one with quick access to the Settings menu, and LG Health and other apps.

“Keeping people connected to the world is our business and the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition was designed specifically to meet the needs of customers who want to communicate anytime, anywhere,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “The wearable category is still in its infancy and we plan to continue introducing exciting devices that appeal to a diverse audience.”

Thanks to cellular connectivity, the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition can be used to answer calls and send messages even when it is not connected to a smartphone.

The smartwatch will be making its way to key markets in Europe, Asia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States in the following months.
