Sonny Dickson, Australian-based blogger who leaked several photos of the iPhone 5s parts before it was launched, has just posted purported design render of Samsung’s next generation flagship, Galaxy S5.He hasn’t provided any details, but based on the image, it looks like the Galaxy S5 will measure 141.7 x 72.5 x 8.2mm, which makes it slightly bigger and thinner than the Galaxy S4 which measures 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9mm.

This seems to be in line with rumors that have indicated that Galaxy S5 will come with a bigger 5.2-inch screen compared to its predecessor, which comes with a 5-inch screen.

It also looks like the Galaxy S5 will come with a much bigger flash just below the rear-facing camera, compared to Galaxy S4. It could be a dual-LED flash like the iPhone 5s.

The render also reveals that it will come with a hardware Home button. Some rumors have claimed that the Galaxy S5 will come with on-screen keys.

Galaxy S5 is also rumored to come with an on-screen fingerprint scanner, so it is not possible to figure it out from the render.

Samsung is widely expected to unveil its next generation flagship, Galaxy S5 at the Unpacked 5 event on February 24th. Earlier today, Samsung hinted at the Galaxy S5 event with new app icons in the latest teaser for the Unpacked event.

We must point out that renderings need not reflect the actual design of the Galaxy S5, but more a representation of the dimensions. Dickson also seldom uses a question mark in his posts, which seems to suggest that he is not very confident of his source.
