Nexus 5x

The LG-made Nexus 5X is Google’s spiritual successor to the original Nexus 5. It is also the cheaper of the two Nexus handsets unveiled by Google in 2015.

To achieve its price tag of $379, the Nexus 5X features a plastic body with a 5.2-inch 1080p display. It also features a modest Snapdragon 808 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 16/32GB storage space. Thankfully, the device shares the same rear camera setup as the Nexus 6P, which means that we get a 12.3MP Sony sensor with F/2.0 aperture and 1.55um pixel size, along with a LaserAF sensor and a dual-LED CRI flash.

The handset is powered by a 2,700mAh battery that should be enough to power the device through a day of heavy usage thanks to the new power saving optimisations in Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

On the connectivity front, the Nexus 5X features LTE Cat. 6 connectivity, NFC, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, and a USB Type-C port.
