Apart from announcing the final release of Android Wear 2.0, Google also announced two new LG-made Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch: the LG Watch Style and Watch Sport. The former is the lower end model and houses a 1.2-inch 360×360 resolution circular P-OLED display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Inside the Watch Style is Qualcomm’s Wear Snapdragon 2100 chipset running at 1.1GHz. The body of the smartwatch is made from 316L stainless steel, with the watch band being made of genuine Italian leather. Other specs includeIP67 certification, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and a 240mAh battery with wireless charging. The 10.2mm thick smartwatch will be available in Silver, Titanium, and Rose Gold colors.

As for the Watch Sport, it features a circular 1.38-inch P-OLED display with a 480 x 480 resolution. While its body is made of 316L stainless steel, the straps are made from TPU and are not user replaceable since they house all the antennas. The Watch Sport adds NFC, LTE, and a heart rate sensor in addition to the other connectivity options and sensors found on the Watch Style. It also features 768MB of RAM, an IP68 rating, a speaker, two secondary buttons along with a digital crown, and a barometer. The additional features make the Watch Sport pretty thick, though, with a waistline of over 14mm. The smartwatch will be available in Titanium and Dark Blue colors, but the latter will be exclusive to Google’s Store in the US.

Both smartwatches will go on sale starting February 10 in the United States. The LG Watch Style will be available for $249 from Best Buy and Google Store, while the $349 Watch Sport will be available through Google Store along with carrier stores of AT&T and Verizon. The smartwatches will also be available in Russia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Korea, Taiwan, UAE, and the UK in the coming weeks.
