Feed Me

There are quite a few services out there that makes it easier for users to find ongoing deals in popular restaurants in their area.

However, since services like Groupon are not community driven, they miss out on deals from smaller restaurants or are simply unavailable in smaller cities and countries. Feed Me — from the developer of Today Calendar — aims to solve this problem with its community driven database.

The app adheres to the Material Design guidelines and looks gorgeous, and allows users to simply view existing deals near them or add new ones. In case they like a particular deal, they can upvote it as well that will increase its visibility. Tapping on any deal will provide more information about it, tapping on its address will open up Google Maps with direction to the particular restaurant.

Feed Me provides a brand new, community driven database of local restaurant deals in your area.

Deal Stream:

Deals show up on your deals stream as other nearby users add them. If you think it’s a good deal, upvote it, and it’ll appear higher in others streams. Dislike a deal? Downvote it and it’ll get pushed lower.

This allows the best deals in your local area to get pushed to the top, and the worst deals to fade out to nothing.

Compared to services like Groupon, Feed Me has very limited deals, but that is understandable since the app was only recently launched on the Google Play Store. However, with time, the app should have enough deals to actually make it useful.
