The Cyanogen team has started rolling out the CyanogenOS 13.1 update for the OnePlus One. Despite the Cyanogen OS 13.1 numbering, the update is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and not Android 6.1. It includes critical security fixes, improved stability and performance, new mods for Microsoft apps like Cortana, OneNote, Skype, and Twitter.

OnePlus One owners report that the update includes a new Dialer app with Skype integration, Call Recording support, MOD support in lock screen, and more. A mini change-log of the update can be found below:

“Upgrade your device to Cyanogen OS 13.1. Based on Android™ 6.0.1, Marshmallow, this update provides critical security fixes, improved stability/performance, product upgrades, and new mods for Cortana, OneNote, Microsoft Hyperlapse, Skype, and Twitter.”

The 396.3MB OTA update carries the build number ZNH2KAS1KN and is being rolled out over the update from today. The download link of the update is already available, so you can always manually sideload it if you want it to.

While the OnePlus One received the Cyanogen OS 13 update based on Marshmallow in early April, its successor — the OnePlus 2 — is getting its first taste of Marshmallow from today.
