Keep gets improved search, Docs gains comment notifications in round of updates

Keep continues to make strides that move it beyond just a simple note-taking app.

The latest update improves the search experience, putting ’s organization capabilities to work for your current archived notes.

Now you’ll see auto-labels by touching the search bar. You can then select one of the groupings search further through your notes images. 

Grab the latest version of Keep for Android from the ay Store or A Mirror to get in on the action.

For Docs, Sheets, Slides, you’ll now get a notification from the desktop or the Android app if you have a new comment on one of your files. If you’re already signed up to get notifications through email, this will carry over to push alerts.

You can now get comment notifications directly on Android or the web for Docs, Sheets, or Slides.

You can check in to your notification settings to see what you’ve enabled. To make this happen is flipping a switch on its end, so no app updates are necessary.

The impact on you: th Evernote recently announcing a price increase more limitations on its free tier, you might be in the market for a new note-taking app. Keep is an excellent option, it keeps getting better all the time. Keep could still use some deeper ties to Drive apps, which we expect to see happen over time.
