We’ve been hit with a bevy of G3 leaks over the past few weeks, with new details about the phone popping up seemingly every day. Well, it looks like LG is looking to shatter the veil of any remaining secrecy by releasing a video detailing it’s new QuickCircle cover.
Like the Samsung Galaxy S and Note line’s S-View cover, LG debuted a similar accessory for the G2 in the form of the QuickWindow case. This time around, the company has tweaked the case’s window from a rectangle to a circle. This isn’t terribly exciting, but the case will support Qi wireless charging as well.
The case essentially works just as the previous QuickWindow case, giving the user access to basic functionality of the phone, such as music controls, call answering, message viewing, and taking photos. There’s also an option for tracking your steps from the QuickCircle case, but it remains to be seen whether this means the LG G3 will ship with a secondary processor to track motion like the HTC One and Galaxy S5, or that it’s just using the Android 4.4 KitKat API.
The QuickCircle case will be available in Metallic Black, Silk White, Aqua Mint, Shine Gold, and Indian Pink. Given that they’re official, LG-made accessories and support wireless charging, expect the QuickCircle cover to run for around $60 to $70 at launch.
