Twitter today announced that it is globally rolling out Highlights on Android that will deliver the “most interesting content tailored for you.” The feature was first introduced by Twitter in April this year.

Twitter has always rolled out new features for its iOS client first, but this time around, the feature has first been released for the official Twitter for Android client for now.

Highlights will notify you about the most interesting stuff from the day tailored according to your taste. Twitter takes into consideration the popular conversations among people you follow, tweets from accounts in your network, and trending topics and events to show you the highlighted content.

Twitter will automatically send you a push notification when a highlight is available for you. Do make sure that your push notifications from the official Twitter client is enabled on your device. The feature will automatically be enabled by Twitter from their server side for all recent Android devices running the official Twitter client for Android (v5.5 or higher).
