SamMobile, the Samsung fan site that has an above average track record when it comes to rumors, claims to have photos of Samsung’s as yet to be announced Galaxy S4 mini. Like the Galaxy S III mini, the Galaxy S4 mini simply looks like a shrunken down GS4. It’s said to have a 4.3 inch qHD display (960 by 540 pixels) and a dual core 1.6 GHz processor. Not much else is known.
When will this thing be announced? How much will it cost? Those are two pieces of information I don’t have, information that will ultimately decide the fate of this product. I want to say that those considering a GS4 mini should buy a GS3 instead, but the size issue is real for a lot of people.
When Samsung announced the 4.3 inch Galaxy S II back in 2011, I remember how insane I thought the company was for launching such a huge device. But now I carry a 5.5 inch Note II.
