After giving its new Galaxy S6 edge+ its grand unveiling in New York City last week, Samsung today announced the new phablet is coming to India. The device will be available on August 28, and prices will start at Rs. 57,900 for a 32GB model.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ is essentially a larger version of the Galaxy S6 edge, powered by the same Exynos 7420 processor, with the same impressive 16-megapixel camera. But its larger design does bring some advantages, including a 5.7-inch display, a bigger 3,000mAh battery, and 4GB of RAM.

Samsung also confirmed that its official Keypad Cover and Fast Wireless Charger are coming to India later this month, priced at Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 3,599 respectively. The former, which adds physical keys to the S6 edge+, will be available in gold and silver.

Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed a price for the 64GB S6 edge+ — or whether it will be available at all in India — but we should find out more nearer the time.
