Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition

Samsung is not a stranger to releasing developer edition devices, especially for Verizon, and now it looks like they’re preparing to release yet another model.

A new page for a Developer Edition Galaxy Note 4 from Samsung has surfaced, as originally reported by Droid-Life. As is usually the case, the Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition shares the same specifications as the regular Galaxy Note 4, but this one will likely boast a bootloader that is easier to unlock, for those who love to tinker with their Android-based devices.

Unfortunately, as is also usual for developer edition handsets, this flagship won’t be sold with any type of subsidy. That means, if you do want to get your hands on it you’ll have to pay outright, and Samsung’s not shy with the price tag: $662.53.

As far as a release date goes, that seems to be still up-in-the-air at this point, as the device has not yet passed through the FCC quite yet, according to Samsung. However, considering the handset is listed on Samsung’s website with a price tag, it should be readily available for purchase soon.

Do you plan on picking one up?
