Samsung today announced the release of a “new and improved version” of its Samsung+ app that will act as a one-stop shop….app for its customers for any product issues or other service queries.

To better service customers, Samsung+ 3.0 app includes options like Live Support through which Samsung Galaxy owners can directly get video, text or audio support for their products.

Samsung will also be giving away discount on its products, personalised offers and ticket giveaways through the Galaxy Life section of its Samsung+ app from time to time as well.

For better assistance, the app also features Samsung Assist that makes it possible for support folks to remotely control your device and troubleshoot it. For privacy and safety reasons, the user will first have to manually grant access to the support to their device. For now, this feature is only available on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, with other Galaxy devices getting this feature through carrier updates in the coming weeks.

Other features of the app include On demand answers that will allow Galaxy owners to troubleshoot their device on their own; and Device Diagnostics that checks the battery health and quickly frees up some storage. The app will also provide users with some handy tips and tricks and access to Samsung’s community for access to some handy resources.

Samsung+ app will start rolling out to Galaxy owners starting from today, and it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
