LG G4

The LG G4 has received the teardown treatment from the folks over at MyDrivers who managed to dismantle the handset in only 15 minutes.

The site notes that once the screws from the backplate of the handset are removed, accessing its internals becomes pretty easy. The teardown images give us a clear look at how tightly packed the motherboard of the G4 is with various components. LG has also not made use of adhesive or any kind of glue to keep the internal components in place like some OEMs usually do.

The website even claims that the G4 is the easiest Android flagship of 2015 to repair. This should not really come as a surprise once you take into account the poor repairability score of the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge thanks to their unibody design.

Will the easier repairability process of the LG G4 factor in your decision of buying the handset over the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge? Drop in a comment and let us know!
