LG today announced that it will be launching its latest curved wonder — the G Flex 2 — in its home market (South Korea) on January 30.

The company has priced the device at 800,000 won, which roughly translates into US$740.

The press release from the Korean company does not provide much details about the US launch of the handset except for stating that a wider rollout of the phone will follow its domestic launch.

The G Flex 2 was announced by LG at CES 2015 earlier this month and comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor. It was the first phone to be announced with Qualcomm’s latest chipset and it is more than likely that it will be first to the market as well.

The handset features a 5.5-inch 1080p curved P-OLED display and a self-healing back that can recover from day to day scratches in seconds.
