Last week, at IFA in Berlin, Sony announced a new flagship phone called the Xperia Z1. What’s inside? Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800, 2 GB of RAM, 5.0 inch 1080p screen, 20.7 megapixel camera, and a massive 3000 mAh battery. Don’t like the large screen? Here’s where the “Z1 mini” comes in. While it’s not official yet, rumors of its existence have been bubbling up around the internets for the past several weeks. And today, courtesy of E Trade Supply, we now have a clear photo of the front front of this thing.

What exactly is “known” about the Z1 mini? Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and the HTC One mini, both of which look like their bigger brothers and sisters, but inside are completely different with far inferior specs, the Z1 mini is pretty much the exact same phone as the Z1, except it has a 4.3 inch 720p display and smaller 2400 mAh battery.

Yes, you read that right. Sony is planning on releasing a 4.3 inch smartphone with a Snapdragon 800, 2 GB of RAM, and a 20.7 megapixel camera. Your dreams of a flagship Android phone that isn’t the size of your face are going to come true.

When? The Japanese site RBMen says “fall”, which can mean anything, sadly.
