HTC has released a trio of new ads today to promote its 2015 flagship handset — the One M9. In the adverts, the company conducts a “blind test” where it pits the M9 against the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy S6.

In the first advert, HTC pits the One M9 against the Galaxy S6 in a race where users were required to open a series of apps, jump between them and click a selfie in between. The winner — obviously — was the One M9, though the users in the video thought that the winning phone was from Samsung or Apple. The One M9 won because it kept the apps loaded in the background, which allowed it to load the app instantly when opened a second time by the user.

In the second test, some visitors at Bondi Beach were required to take low-light selfies from two different phones, both of which were concealed in cases. In this “blind test,” the One M9 won against the iPhone 6 thanks to its front-facing UltraPixel camera, which is superior to the iPhone 6’s front-facing 1.3MP shooter in terms of quality and resolution.

The third blind test pitted the One M9’s BoomSound speaker against the single downward firing speaker on the iPhone 6. The winner, once again and without a doubt, was the HTC One M9.

Do you think these ads will be enough to convince you to buy the HTC One M9 over the Galaxy S6 and the iPhone 6, despite the phone being inferior to them in almost every other department? Drop in a comment and let us know.
