Google has officially released the latest Android distribution report, for a testing period of seven days ending on May 2.

The report shows that Android’s many versions actually saw a sweeping decline across the board, except for one important version: Marshmallow. Google’s data shows that while every other version of Android that’s still being reported by Google, Android Marshmallow actually rose in adoption.

Breaking it down: Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now registering on 7.5% of devices. That’s compared to the 4.6% that registered the same software just last month. Android 5.0/5.1 Lollipop is now on 35.6 percent of devices accessing the Google Play Store based on Google’s most recent check, which is a decline of 0.2 percent from last month.

Android 4.4 KitKat saw a decline as well, down to 32.5 percent from 33.4 percent last month. Android Jelly Bean is now on 20.1 percent of devices, while Android Ice Cream Sandwich is only registered on 2.0 percent of devices.

So, drops across the board, except for Google’s newest version of Android. Which is great for adoption.
