I’m going to get a lot of crap for saying this, but I don’t think gaming on Android is all that interesting. There are great games available for the Android platform, don’t get me wrong, but whenever I see my girlfriend play Temple Run on her dual core iPad mini, and the graphics look leaps and bounds better than Temple Run on my Note II, I’m disappointed. It’s not that Apple products are better, they’re just less fragmented. A game developer needs to optimize their game for two iPhones, two iPads, and that’s it, they’re done.

Do you know how many Galaxy variant there are out there?

Speaking about gaming on Android, today Gameloft is announcing that they’ve optimized 10 of their titles for Samsung’s newest flagship phone, the GS4. The titles include Real Football 2013, Playmobil Pirates, World at Arms, Wonder Zoo, My Little Pony, Littlest Petshop, Asphalt 7: Heat, Ice Age Village, Kingdoms & Lords, and The Oregon Trail: American Settler.

If you have any children, they’ll likely be asking you to download one of those games. And assuming you’re an adult, you’ll probably get a kick out of Real Football and Asphalt 7.
