The OnePlus One was among the best phones released last year, even though it was only available through an invite-only process for most part of the year. While the handset was available for purchase directly towards the end of the year, the high-demand meant that most users were unable to get one before stocks ran out.
If you are still looking to buy the One, you will be glad to know that OnePlus is again offering the handset for sale on January 20th without any invites. However, the handset will only be available for sale for a couple of hours, which varies depending on your region.
In the United States, you will be able to purchase the One without any invite between 7 to 9PM EST, while if you reside in Europe, you will be able to purchase it between 19:00 to 21:00 GMT. If you reside in Asia, you will be able to purchase it from anywhere between 19:00 to 21:00 Hong Kong time zone. The Chinese startup will be offering the 16GB Silk White as well as the 64GB Sandstone Black for sale. The former is priced at $299 without taxes, while the latter costs $349.
For a Chinese startup that was relatively unknown and for a phone that was only available through an invite only system, OnePlus has done remarkably well and managed to sell nearly a million units of the One in 2014.
